Know what a lead is worth.
Most home-service companies can tell you what a lead cost. Very few can tell you what it returned. LeadSpiff’s Leads ROI view follows every approved lead from the doorstep to the invoice — inside the same dashboard where you approved it.
Every lead, followed honestly
-
Milestone stamps. Each lead is stamped as it moves: contacted, scheduled, quoted, sold, serviced, lost. The stamp records when it happened — the history cannot be rewritten after the fact.
-
Attempts are logged, too. “Tried — no answer” is a real log entry, separate from “Contacted.” Trying counts as work; it just does not pretend to be contact.
-
Stale leads flag themselves. A lead nobody has touched in 48 hours, or one attempted but never contacted after 7 days, is flagged before it goes cold.
-
Job value counts only when it is real. Revenue attaches to a lead only with a sold or serviced stamp — so the ROI number is built from finished work, not optimism.
-
Close rates and speed. See close rate by technician, how fast leads get worked, and the program’s return — and export it all as CSV for your own files.
-
One short note per lead. Deliberately light — follow-up, not a CRM.
